Getting rid of Salt Stained Car Mats

If you live in an area with winter and salted roads, then you know what your floor mats look like come spring.

Here is a great way to get rid of those salt stains.

Give the car floor mats, a good vacuum to get rid of lose grime, then mix up a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water and then using a sponge, sponge into the carpet. Let it sit for a few minutes, then blot it up with paper towel.

Intensive Hair Conditioner

If your hair needs a emergency intensive conditioning, try this:

1 x teaspoon of apple cider vinegar (make sure it says apple cider vinegar!)

3 x egg whites

2 x tablespoons olive oil

mix these ingredients together, and rub this mixture into your hair, then wrap your hair with plastic wrap, or a shower cap.

Wait for at least 1/2 hour (3o minutes) and then shampoo like you usually do! Your hair will have a nice glow

This is a great conditioner, just make sure you have the time to do this, and your hair will shine and look healthy and conditioned.

Soak a cloth with apple cider vinegar, and put on your forehead to fix a hangover headache.

If you work with concrete for your job, or just doing jobs around the house, it can be hard to remove dried concrete from your hands.

Even though you may wear gloves, you still end up with concrete residue, and this is hard on your skin, irritating eczema, drying your skin and more.

Before you scrub your hands raw, try using some full strength vinegar on your hands first, then wash with warm, soapy water...

Cleaning Rusty Tools

Do you have rusty tools? Possibly tools you left outside over the winter?

I always try to get tools away, especially garden tools before the winter, but it doesn't always work out..

So, if you are now stuck cleaning rusty tools, try this:

Soak them in full strength white vinegar (they call it distilled white vinegar, and you can get it for cheap in large containers at the grocery store) for a few days, and this will not only remove rust, but dirt as well. Much cheaper and easier on the hands than toxic cleaners. Try it!

This is a great way to revive old tools you got for cheap in a garage sale too!
